Drag and activism became the subject of an ethnographic research project conducted during my bachelor in anthropology. Working with drag artists in the Netherlands and Belgium, myself and my research partner sought to explore the relationship between performance, power, and social activism.

In collaboration with The House of Extinction, a Dutch drag house focused on climate activism and the use of sustainable materials, we created a short documentary for the purpose of academic research, as well as a performance hosted at Pamela in Amsterdam. The core of the documentary was filmed during Belgium Pride, in conjunction with Greenpeace Belgium and other local performers.
